TCEF Sponsors the TCC Mayor Mattie Parker College Tour

TCEF sponsors its first college tour. Forty-seven (47) Senior students, class of 2025, will attend the TCC/ Mayor Mattie Parker College Tour. Chartered buses will take them to visit three Texas colleges. Many of these students have never left their local communities and are not likely to be escorted by their parents to preview a college of interest. These students will receive firsthand experience on a college campus, which is sure to make an impact on the lives of these young college hopefuls.   Students will visit Prairie View A&M University, Texas A&M University at College Station, TX, and the University of Texas at San Antonio. This three-day adventure will increase college applications and boost interest in seeking scholarships to attend college in the fall.

TCEF is committed to creating lasting change for those we serve.
