The Art of Style Showcase 2026 at the FWMSH

The Art of Style is a community-centered fashion education initiative serving high school and college students across Fort Worth and Tarrant County. The program addresses the environmental impact of fast fashion while teaching the value of sustainable style, responsible design, upcycling, and creative reuse.

Through workshops, professional training, environmental awareness, and mentorship opportunities hosted at several local high schools and colleges, TCEF will help equip the next generation of designers with the tools, knowledge, and perspective needed to lead in a changing industry.

The program will culminated in a sustainable fashion and a style showcase at the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History, where students, emerging designers, and educators will reveal original designs created through sustainable practices. This public event will celebrate student creativity, elevate emerging voices in fashion, and engage the broader community in conversations about environmental responsibility, cultural expression, and the future of design.

The Art of Style proposes to inspire the next generation of fashion leaders to move beyond fast fashion and embrace design practices that are ethical, innovative, and environmentally conscious.

Art of Style: Sustainable Fashion Showcase '26 Highlights

The Art of Style: A Showcase of Sustainable Fashion brought together designers, community leaders, students, and supporters on February 12, 2026, for an unforgettable evening at the Jane & John Justin Foundation Omni Theater at the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History.

This showcase celebrated fashion as a force for change, shining a light on sustainable design and inspiring our community to rethink, redesign, and reimagine what fashion can be.

Presented by the Tarrant County Education Foundation, The Art of Style is more than a runway, it is a movement that challenges the world's second largest contributor to global pollution, the fashion industry and through sustainable design, community engagement, and creative re-imagination, TCEF is proud to work to be a part of the solution.
